Hi there I was told by the dealer that if I went with anything bigger then what is on the car it would throw the computer out of tune and they wouldn't be able to fix it is there any truth to this? I also dont like the transmission cause it feels like i'm driving a stick and riding the clutch. I have looked in to alot of 16"17" rims any suggestions?

Some truth... It changes the load on the transmission and will affect your gas mileage and speedometer. Realistically it shouldn't hurt the car at all, but your driving habits may need to change if you dramatically change the revolutions per mile of your tires.

Changing wheel/tire size won't damage the car, but it will change the driving characteristics.
